At tte above yards on Wednesday there were fatply large entrie3 of oittle, a good i flupply of fat aheep, and a moderate norn bar of store sheep made up the doy'B l market. The weather beautifully fine ; attendance of buyers and others about an average one Fat Caitle— -A good supply, with more than the U3ml proportion of heavy weight | prime quality bullocks. The demand was afjaln but slack, la f e valaes aboat ruling. Stoer 8 at from £5 5s to £7 17s Oi ; heifers, £3 163 to £5 153, boing at from 153 to abont 183 per 1001 b, according to the quality. Stork Cattle— A small entry, with perhaps a shade better enquiry for fairly forward stores. Valaes, however, little if any better. Dairy Cattle— A fairly numerous entry, a few very good milch oows near oalvlng being offered ; for ouch the usual good prices were given, viz, £6 to £8 153 ; aeoond rate sorts, £3 to £4 • backward calvers very difficult to sell. Fat Fhsep— A pretty full market, quality varied, on the whole jfood, with a few lota of exceptionally prime quality aid haavy weights. The market opened firm, and throughout a good healthy demand was shown, late rates being fully maintained. Orojabfed wethera, heavy weights sold at from 153 to 18b. and 18j 3d ; medium weights, ttom 93 *9d to lla 6i ; crossbred ewes ranged at from 8s to 11? 95 ; and merino wethers up to 5s lid, boiog from l|d to 2£d per lb, aooording to quality. Stokb Shrep.— A r»ther light entry. A good enquiry shown for all lines. Late values firm. Messrs Matson aod 00, sold a line of mixed cross bred a at 53 7d, Messrs Bennettß Bros, sold 348 merino ewes at 3] 104, 200 crossbred wethers at 8s 2d to 8 j 41, 359 do at 8a Pigs. — A fairly heavy entry, varied Borte and quality, For prime baooners and porkers the demand was good, all lota being quitted at about late values, viz , 3d to 3|d per lb. Baooners sold at from 36s to 54a ; porkers, 20a to 325 ; stores, 15i to 235.
