Wednesday, June 13: The Council met at 2 30 p.m; LEAVE OF ABSENCE. Leave of absence for the seaalon was granted to the Hon W. Robinson. OBIMINAL CODE BILL. The Hon P. A. Buokley, Chairman of the Committee, hoped that the Bill would be proooeded with, excepting two clauses, ono abolishing the term "penal servitude," and the other plvlng a prisoner power to give sworn evidence.
