Tuesday, Junb 12. The Council mot at 2.30 p.m. CODLIN MOTH BILL. Dr Pollen presented a petition from Auckland fruit-growers against the Oodlin Moth Bill. MIDLAND RAILWAY. The Committee on the Midland Railway presented their report, suggesting that the final route be left to tha Government and the engineering staff m the colony to decide. The Committee were of opinion that suggestions from colonial engineers would have more weight thin those oat* side the colony. The Council rose at 3.10 p,m. till Wednesday.
