HORSE MARKET.
+ Mr T. Bullock reports for the week ending Saturday, Juno 9ih : — Thera was a small entry of horse?, viz , 23, and a moderate attendance of farmers and other country settlers. The horses offered were ■ only of a very medium stamp, indeed, and 1 there were no first-class diaughts entered, but the Bale proved a great contrast to i the previous Saturdays as then it was difficult to obtain bids, but at thia sale nearly the whole of the entry changed ; hands at very satisfactory prices. Out of t the 23 offered 17 were sold as follows, t viz., medium draughts of a very light description, 6 -year olds, £13 10a to £14 ; , 3 and 4-year old, do, £12 to £14 ; light t harness horses, £4 10 h to £7 10s. Hacks, i £4 sb, £?, £6 sd, £6 10s up to £7 ;afi ly unbroken, £5 ; inferior irom £1 10s to £2 17a 6d Sundries, a quantity of j timber from Oxford, brought 9a 3d per 100 feet super. Horse covers, second baud harness, etc., at full market rates
