NEW GUINEA AFFAIRS.
Mr John Douglas, m his annual report on New Guinea affairs, says he has received no contribution from the South Australian Government towards the cost of administration. With regard to the future administration he says it will be impossible to apply British law m a technical sense to Native affairs, and for many years to come a personal I government must prevail to a great j. extent.
