A NOTABLE ARREST.
The litest arrest made by the poliohas been a very notable and impo/ti*nt one indeed. It must be aoknowledsged to have been no tnein feather m their cap, when they captured at Queenstown, jaat landed most mysteriously for » L vorpool packet on its voyage to New York, a Fenian m" the guise of a lady. The Fenian, however, turned out after all to be a lady who had I been engaged m the rifle company of "Buffalo Bill's" show, and who. having fallen out with her employer, had left with the Intention of returning to Amerioa, but < ss U the privilege of ladies, ohanged her mind on the way, and quitted the vassal at Qaeenstown, for the purpose of retracing her steps. If a lady, nevertheless, travels with three rifhi m her baggage, what may not lawfully be suspected about her ? And to do the police justice, euoh ladles are not oommon m Iceland. The last report speaks of the lady as proceeding, m a high state of indignation, about the recovery of her rifles. Perhaps, by this time, the police havu found that even the capture of a Fenian might be prefer, able to that of a Tartar.
