BOROUGH LICENSING COMMITTEE.
The annual meeting of the Aahburton Borough Licensing O rnmlttee was held at the Courthouse at noou to-day. Present; Messrs T. Scaly (Ohairman), A. Harrison, R, Aloern, D. Thomas. RENEWALS. Renewals of pnblicans' licenses were granted as follows :— Ann Butler, Bntlet's Family Hotal (Mr Orlep); Patrick DevaDe, Aahburton Hotel (Mr Orispj ; William Drummond, Railway Refreshment Booms (Me Orlep) ; John Henry, Commercial HoteJ ; WillUm Pattman, Somerset Hotel ; Wm. Redmond, Central Hotel, , The license m this case was granted ( subjeot to sufficient bedding beiog pro- , vided to the eatisfaotion of the Inspector, j Air Gri»p appeared for the applioant. A Publican's License for the Royal , Hotel was granted to Margaret Toppin. , Mr Parnell appeared for the applicant. j EXTENSION. j An extension of time to 11 o'clook waa , granted to all the licensed bouses m the j Borough, vi lth the exception of the Rallr ] way Refreshment Rooms, the licensee of ( which made no application for an ezten- i slon, | LIGHTS. Permission waa granted to the various licensees to extinguish the lights m front of their premlaea *ft«r 11 o'clock.
