ho annual meeting of the Ashbuitin Dhtrict Licensing Committee w«a held this morning. Present — Messrs T. Bullock, D Thomas, and T. Healy. The police report on the houres m the district was fnvoruble. Renewals of licenses were granted to Mark Scoit (Tinwald Hotel), and P. Keller (Winalowr Hotel ) The traunfer of the publicans' license for the Waterton Hotel to J, Miiller was confirmed, and the lloense renewed, the application for an accommodation license being withdrawn.
