' GRIS9ING dona for Farmers by return j good FLOUR guaranterd. WHEAT for GRISTING may be dollved at the Triangle Bakery usual. BRAN and SHARPS m Stock, -m*t IMPOBTANT TO Grain Growers. I BEG to call the attention, of Farmers and Grain Producers to my new method of poisoning Wheat for the destruction of small birds. In former years the poisoned grain supplied from varions souroea had some Berioua defects, whioh L olaim to have entirely obviated In my new and patented prccsss, . By tbe old method, Immediately the Wheat begins to grow, the poison Is absorbed and becomes useless, Whole Wheat does got absorb the poison beyond the outf_r skin or bran and a few showers of rain washes it off. I have imported a machine at considerable coat for splitting the wheat berry along the crease and removing tbe germ, which, of course, prevents germination, thns preserving the full strength of the poison when applied. The Wheat prepared by my process absorrs the strychnine through the floury portions of the berry after it* is Bplit and desermed, and as the birds are known to reject the outer huak and ent only the inside, the poison oannct fail to be effeotive. Seconds of Wheat contain so j many foreigu seeds, such aa combine, I sorrel, dock weeds, &c, which blrdß never touch, that It is expensive, and a waste of strychnine to use lt as has hitherto been done. The small and withered grains In Becouda cannot poßßibly absorb sufficient pojaon to moke it of any value, and much m j ary is done to the land m the dissemination of noxlo»8 weedß. I shall be pleasrd to fhow samples of Wheat as it cornea from the machine and after poisoning, and explak. fully the improvements m my process to all who take an .Interest m grain growing. J. M.
