The weekly returns of tho Bank of England, published to-day, show the total reserve m notes and bullion to bo £11,800,000, and the proportion of reserve to liabilities 39 per cent., being an increase of £40,000 m the total reserve and an increase of one per cent, m the proportion to liabilities. The total quantity of wheat afloat for tho United Kingdom is 2,400,000* quarters, and for tho Continent 460,000 quarters. The English wheat crop is more favorable, owing to fine weather. It is expected that the cargo of the steamer Belembria, which met with a mishap on her voyage Home, will be condemned ♦
