GRISTING done lot Farmers by return ; good FLOUR guaranteed. WHEAT for GRISTING may be dellved at the Triangle Bakery usual. BRAN and SHARPS In Stock, IMPORTANT TO Grain Growers. I BEG to call the attention of Farmers and Grain Producers to my new mathod of poiannin* Wheat for the dent motion of email birds. In former years the po'soaed grain supplied from various souroes had some serious defects, which I claim to have entirely obviated m my new and patented prcceßß. :■ By the old method, immediately the Wheat begins to grow, the poison Is absorbed and becomes useless. Whole Wheat dees not absorb the poison beyond the oator skin or bran and a few Bhowera of rain washes it off. I have imported a machine at considerable coßt for splitt'ng the wheat berry along the crease and removing the germ, which, of course, prevents germ I - nation, thus preserving the lull strength of the poison when applfed. 1 The Wheat prepared by my process abaorbß the strychnine through the floury portions of the berry after it la split and degermed, and as the birds are known to reject the outer husk and eat only the Inside, the poison cannot fail to be effeotive. Seoonds of Wheat contain bo many foreign seeds, such as combine, sorrel, dock weeds, &0., which birds never touch, that it is expensive, and a waßte of strychnine- to use it as has hitherto been done. The small and withered grains In seconds cannot possibly absorb Buffioient poison to make it of any value, and much injury !a done to the land m the dissemination of noxlons weeds. I shall >c pleased to show samples of Wheat as it comes from the machine and after poisoning, and explain fully the improve* ments m my process to all who take an interest m grain growing. J. M.
