There was a good supply of sheep at the Tinwald yards on Tuesday, aud wirh fine weather and a gcod attendance, busines] was fairly brink, and prices were perceptibly firmer. Lambs showed a complete recoveryfrom the recent temporary depression, and brought prices which were highly satisfactory to vendors, especially when compared with last yeir's rates. Store Btaeep of all desciiptions were m ttrong demand. Fat crossbred ewes and wetbera sold at 8s to 8s 6d, light wethers 7s 10J, good butchers' ewes 7s 3d. Store 4 and 6 tooth crosrbrod ewes brought 4s 6d to 6s 6d ; a line of 1000 6 and 8-tooth merino gwob, m Jamb to long-woolled rams, 3a 9d ; crossbred lamb?, 4s ti 5s Bd, For boiling down, long-wcolled rams soil at 3a 6 i to 5? 9d, merino ewes 2s 3d. Cuttle wore m good supply, but lha demand was extremely dull. Fair qualify fat steers and heifers sold up to £4 15*, cows £2 to £3. Bacou pigs sold extremely well at fully Addington quotations, but the demand for stoits ehow&d signs of f illin» off.
