COWARDLY MURDER.
A cowardly murder was perpetrated near Inglewood on Saturday. It appears that a number of men were proceeding along the road when a well- ' known criminal named John Dillon jumped out of the scrub and struck one Coghill a terrific blow on the head, killing him on the spot. Dillon immediately made off into the scrub again, but was subsequently caught and arrested.
