HORSE MARKET.

Mr T. Bullock reports for the week ending Saturday, M*y 19th. There was a large entry of horses, viz, 63, and amongßt them more than a usual number of good and medium draughts ; m fad, one^ of the beat shows of horses that has been at the Arcade for many months. The biddings on the whole were languid, nevertheless a good proportion of the entry changed hands at satisfactory prices, I offered on account of Mr Wm. Mcßride, of Palmeratou North, 19 medium droughts and others, out of which I sold 10 at prices given below. The beßt stamp of geldirgs and well-bred brood mares were paeaedin unsold, farmers appearing to prefer te purchase lower priced horses than look up larger sums m good stock. Out of the day's entry of 53, 24 were sold at the following pricep, viz:— on account of Mr Mcßride, 3 and 4-year.olds medium draughts of a light stamp, just broken. £10, £12 10s, £15; 6 year olds £12, £13 10=1, £15 10a: 7-year old £12 10s; 6 yearold cob brought £14, and a good upstanding 4 year-old back, £17. On account of Mr Body, bay mare, 6 years, by Glenrqy, £2s. For other owners, 4-year-ofd medium draughts, £15, £1Q 10a ; do of a light description, £10 ; § and 7-year-old.s and aged, light, £7 IQs, £8, £i£, accord.ing to description ; inferior, £4 to £7 : light harness horses, £4 10s to £5.
