It was decided that the Society should work ander the Dime of "The South' Etakfth Working Men's Money Olub." The Sydenham Olab rules were adopted, and some of its members kindly attended to give aßaistanoa In forming the Rakaio Olub. Mr Howell was elected Treasurer, and Mr Moodie, Secretary ; other officers were appointed m accordance with tha rules. Those present then paid their entrance fees and contributions, and the Olub thus received a good start, h waß resolved to hold meetings every Saturday evening, from 7 to 9, for the transaction of ordinary business, m a room to be provided by Mr flowell. A. vote of thank? to tbe Chairman, and Mr ££oweli for the uae of his room, terminated the proceedings.
