The captain of the steamer Albany with Chinese passengers aboard defied the Customs authorities, and proceeded to the wharf at Melbourne. The passengers were not, however, allowed to land, and the captain will be pro ceeded against. Brisbane, May 14. The Chinese of Kelvin Grove, have cabled to Pekin, asking the protection of the Imperial Government.
