I Wheat — Australian, .ex warehouse, 35s ; ex ship, 345. \ Tallow— Mutton, 25s 6d ;" beef, 245, The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, dated sth inst. : — Wool — The sales closed firmly this day. Since the close of last sales superior greasy has advanced per lb. Superior scoured merino £d to Id. Fine greasy and washed crossbred has declined -^d, and fine scoured crossbred lambs is firmer, but is easier for medium and inferior greasy merino lambs. For other descriptions the market is unchanged. The sales comprised about 309,000 bales ; 180,000 bales have been taken for the Continent, 3000 bales tor America, and 29,000 bales have been held over for future disposal.
