PRINCE FERDINAND.
rnnce Jberdmand, accompanied by the Premier, is touring the Northern Provinces. At Plevna the Prince was received with great enthusiasm by the populace. In the course of a short address on the occasion, Ferdinand said the affection and loyalty of the people of Bulgaria would give him strength m defending their interests and efforts to secure a triumph of the National cause. Stambouloff, the Premier, m thanking the people of Plevna for the manifestation of their confidence, said Prince Alexander of Battenburg. late ruler, , lacked the courage to remain m Sofia, i He claimed their confidence for Ferdinand, who represented the independent and future glory of Bulgaria.
