A dtstrct horse shall mean any horee that has been icommonly resident m the district between te river Selwyn and Waitaki from February 10, 1888, and up to the date of the forthcoming Meeting, and owned by a person whe hos resided m the said district during the came period. Fivs per cent, will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable m accordance : ,vith this programme for tue expense of the qoorac. All nominations and accoptauccs to go to the funds of the Clnb. No entry will bs received except nn the conditions that all disputes, claims, and objeo tiona arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, cr whom they may appoint.
