BOTTLED WINES.
London, April 27.
The tax on bottled wines has been agreed to by a large majority. Mr Gladstone opposed the proposal, urging that the imposition of a such heavy duty would prove a great impediment to the Australian wine trade. Mr Goschen m reply said the colonies would not m the slightest degree suffer from the tax.
