QUEENSLAND.
Oooktown, April 27. 11, M.5. Lizard, which struck a reef to the northward of here on Wednesday morning, has been floated off without sustaining any injury, and has returned to port. Brisbane, April 27. Abraham Street, the confidential clerk to a well-known wholesale firm, was to-day committed for trial on twenty charges of embezzling money, the property of his employers. The amount' involved is said to be several thousands.
