Mr T Bullock reports for the week ending Saturday, 21st April :— There was one of the largest entries of horses for the season, viz., 62, but amongst Buch a num ber, an might be expected, a great many were of an in'ericr stimp. and pricee realised corresponded. Fornv diumdraughtß Buitahle for farm work, biddings woro fairly spirited. There woro enquiries for (iratclues draughts, nnd buyora present who could not bo supplied. Out of tho total entry of 52, 26 wore sold at the following prices, viz. .— 4-yoar-old draughts, bf rather v light description, £12 10j, £10 35a up to £19 JOs ; b-ynv-okU. £14 sa, £17 10b, £19 ; 6 year o ds, £16 15s, and for one of a fairly good stump, up to £21; inferior, £11; 3-year-oida, broken to plough, £10, £15 10s ; unbroken li^ht, £8 108 • aged, £7, £9 10a, £13, nccording to doecriptiou ; inferior, £5, £6 10s ; 2-yoar-old, unbroken, £7 10d ; light harnoHS horsos, bidding oxtromely dull, £4 10a, £5 ; hncks, a nnn>ber changed hunda at from £3 to £8, with a very limited demand ; scrubbers at low prices.
