. Sydney, April 20 A Chinaman living m the heart of the city was found to-day suffering from leprosy, and was taken to the lepers' house.
The surveying ship, Egeria, which sailed yesterday for Auckland, is to survey the new mail route which it is understood will be from Sydney to the extreme north of New Zealand, and thence to British Columbia, connecting with the Canadian Pacific Railway.
