TO-DAY'S RACING.

There was glorious weather for the second day's racing of tsLe Aehburton Autumn Meeting to-day, and the attendance was considerably better than on the previous day. Following are the results up to time of going to press :— County Hurdle Raoe Handicap, of 25 j soys ; seocnd horse to receive 3 soys from the stake. Distriot horses only. Wrangler and Aurora went to the front and the forrrer led over the hurdle m front of the stand slightly m advance of Aurora and several lengths m front of Squib At the bottom turn Steve ran off and at the mile post Squib ran up to the leaders, and going along the back of the course gained two or three lengths lead of Wrangler and Aurora. At the top turn the latter two closed on Squib, and Nero who had bean lying off improved his position. Squib was the first over the last hurdle and, having WraDgler beaten, won by several lengths. As they went along the back of the course College Boy assumed the lead, Erin-go-bragh and Raven going along nearly about a length m the rear. Hounding the turn into the straight, Erin go bragh and Raven drew up to the leader and they raced together for come distance, when' College Boy was outpaced and Erin-go-bragh passing Riven won comfortably by a length.
