NEW GUINEA.
Lord Knutsford has given his consent to the amendment suggested by the Queensland Government m the, constitution of New Guinea, and the proclamation giving effect to the amendment will shortly be gazetted. Lord Knutsford refers all applicants for land m New Guinea to the Queens* land Government.
