CONDITION OF THE EMPEROR

Bkklin. April 18. The Emperor is worse. Bloodpoisoning 18 feared. Later, The Emperor appeared at the windows of his palace three times during the day, and received a great ovation from the crowds assembled below. Blood-poison-ing set m this evening, and the worst is considered imminent. It has been found necessary to insert a larger canula m the Emperor's throat to facilitate breathing. The operation was successfully performed.
