There wa3 a gocd attend inoa of farmers, bat no animation m the demand, and prices for all cU?oript!ona, except the beet crO3Bbred v/ethera, suffered a farther decline. In fat sheep, prime crossbred wetbera Bold at 8s to 9) 6i, the top price lot going to a grtzer ; lighter weights and good butchers' ewea brought 6i to 7a '6d per stone. Orosabrtd wethera, foartooth, brought 63 6d to 7 s lid ; two-tooth, 5* 6d to 6j 6i. Good young oroaabred ewca sold at 53 9J to 63 6i ; old at 4i to 5i 6d, the latter mostly for boiling down. Crossbred lamba, etorae, sold at 3i 10i to 5i 8d ; fat merino ewes, 4i ; aoand-oiouthed merino ewes hd to 3i', broken-monthed, la 4d to 2j 4i. Very few cattle wßre entered, A few nlca light fat steera and heifers sold at unchanged rateo Store piga brought f-j'l prioea. The moat noticeable feature of the market waß the almo3t entire oeßaaUon, without apparent reason, of tha demand for lambs and breeding ewes.
