FISH FROM THE CLOUDS.
<« An estraordiiary phenomenon fa re ported m the Melbourno " Herald " from the Gindir country Now South Wale 3, During a recent thunderstorm on the station of Rlefsra Brown Broe, about eighty mi'efl from Warlalda, large numbers of fiah, varying from a foot m length to a few incli6B, were stranded or\ the plain, and after tha ctorm subsided, the ■ station hands gathered tuba full of them a'l alive and wriggling on the ground The fiah, which nra described by Mr Brown aa a new variety with which bkek and white men alike are unfamiliar, are splendid eating, and abonnd now m the various branohca of the M'lntyre, which were fi'lod by the storm waters. As some of tho fiah were found on the plains at least three miles from the nearest permanent water, there la no doubt th/i thunder shower lodged them there.
