THE BATTEN BURG MARRIAGE ABANDONED.
St. Petersburg, April 12. - The " Journal de St. Petersbourg " states that the marriage of Prince Alexander of Battenburg to Princess Victoria would re-kindle the hope of the Bulgarian people that Prince Alexander would be restored to the Throne; It considers his restoration would hinder tranquillity and defer pacific relations with the Powers. Berlin, April 12. The betrothal of Prince Alexander of Battenburg to Princess Victoria has been abandoned.
