A BLIZZARD YARN.

Sioux Falls, Dak., Feb. I— (Special.) — Tha biggeßt authenticated blizzard story of the season comes from Aurora county. When the great storm of Jan. 12th swept over that county, Eric JohnsoD, a farmer near Planklnton, waß watering hla cattle some distance from hia buildings. He uacd his utmost exertions to drive the cattle home, but without avail, aB very shortly they, as well aa himself, were exhausted. Among the drove of cattle was a very large ox, which soon became bewildered, acd lay down to die cloee to where John9on was floundering in fhe Bnow. At tbiß moment Johnson, who was making frantic efforts to save himself, ttsb aelzid with an inspiration which impelled him to quickly kill the ox, disembowel him, and crawl inside. Alter drawing the sides of the stomach together he web completely sheltered from the terrifio storm by the warm carcase of the ox, and passed the night in safety and comparative comfort. When morning dawned, however, and he endeavored to crawl out of hia peculiar habitation, ha discovered to his horror that tha ox waß frcz9n solid, his knife outside, and himself a secure prisoner. He kept up a shouting at intervals until 2 o'c'ock, when hia cries were heard by parties who were searching for his fr<zm body, aud ho was helped out of hia hole none the worse for bs peculiar experience.
