Petitions are being drawn up and public meetings are being held in favor of urging the Emperor to retain Prince Bismarck as Chancellor of the Empire. The Emperor had a two hours' interview with Prince Bismarck to-day, but the nature of the interview has not been disclosed. [Reoelved April 13th, 1,20 p.m.] It is reported that there has been an interview between the Empress and Prince Bismarck in connection with the Chancellor's threat to resign on account of the projected betrothal of Prince Alexander to Princess Victoria. The result of the interview is understood to have been a compromise obviating the resignation of Bismarck. St. Petersbtjko, April 11. The Pan-Slavist party are showing activity in Bulgaria and Roumelia. It is expected that the intriguing will result in revolution. Constantinople, April 11. The Porte having again requested England to resume parleying on the Egyptian question, a fresh convention has been submitted similar to the contention drawn up by Sir H. Drummond Wolff in 1885. Paris, April 11. The. Boulanger agitation is seriously depressing the Rentes.
