John Aatley, alias Carling, con victed of larceny to two years ; George Pat'erson, robbery withviolence at Masterton, to three years. Ohristohuroh, April 11 Ia the Supreme Court Alex Danbar pleaded guilty to a charge of offering to reoelve money as an Inducement to abstain from bidding for certain Orown lands put up to auction, but stated that he was unaware he was breaking the law. A fine of £20 was kflloted.— Peter Simeon, a Maori, charged with ladeoent assault, was acquitted. Dtjnbdin, April 11. At the Supreme Oourt James McLaren, fifteen yearr-, was convicted of indecent assault and ordered to be privately whipped. George Anderson waacoavicied of assault with intent and received three years. Charles McGrath, for aiding and abetting got nine months.
