Dax&Y Oaitle— A good nurnbar offering, bat uot a veiy active enquiry, Valueis, however, are gutting firmer week by week aa the cold ■weather approaches. Good oowa on the p iiat of calving are worth from £6 to £8, aeoonl rate aorta £i to £5. Fat Sheep —Another full market, the quality being mixed, but In the main good cheep predominated. The demand came principally through the locat trade, and, j considering the full yards, following on the now repeated heavy markets, the eale went off m a satisfactory manner, values showing no algno of givlDg way, if anything slightly firmer. The beat of the crossbred wethers sold at from 8j 91 to 10a 4d, and the latter fi2ura wts refused tor a pen of wethers. Maiden ewes and wethers sold at from 7a 6 J to 8i 3d, and a very good Hoe of ewos reached 9s ; ordinary lines, of mixed ages, ranged from 5j 4d to 6a 2d, there being no alteration m the price per lb, cay still from l^d to I|J, as per quality, Store Bheei* — There was agaia a large entry of all descriptions, there was a fair attendance of grazlem, and the major part of the entry changed hands at lately quoted values. Fat Lambs —A moderate number offering ; la a few ca.eeg they were of exceptional weight and quality . Lambs m their wool sold at from 5a to 7s 6d, and shorn lambs op to 5i per head, ' Pigs- Only a moderate entry, with a good enquiry, late values being well sustained.
