Sydney, April 9. The overland line is interrupted, owing to heavy storms. The Rabbit Conference will commenpe its sittings on Monday next. Two thousand nine hundred tons of coal have been exported from New castle during the past month. Ships for Auckland are particularly scarce. Intercolonial tonnage is scarce m consequence of freight hardening. The approximate rates are as follow j — To Auckland, 8s 6d; Lyttelton, 7s 6d; Wellington, 3s j Napier, 10s 6d ; Timaru. 9s ; Dunedin, jjps 6d. The Government have decided to restrict foreign warships from coming up the harbour, They will be compelled, for the future, to remain at the Quarantine ground, near the Heads. The Quarantine station will probably be removed to Broken Bay.
