THE TAX ON WINES.
M. Felix Facre is protesting strongly against the proposed tax on bottled wines, on the ground that other countries ma/, if the tax is agreed to, find it necessary to have recourse to reprisals.
The French and German papers are suggesting reprisals m the event of a tax on bottled wines being agreed upon.
