CLAIMED BY THE CROWN
Mr W. H. Smith, First Lord of the Treasury, replying to Mr Hugh Watt, M.P. for Caralachie (Glasgow), said that the gold recently discovered m Wales was found on ground belonging to the Crown, and steps were being taken to secure the right of working the ground.
