Auckland, April 9. Mr J. Anderson, one of the Directors who were sent to the Thames by the .Sydney shareholders of the Manltoto Company, to report on tho mine, has formed a most sanguine opinion of its success. He cabled to hia principals that the two tens of stuff taken to Sydney by H, S. Meyers, and which oansed no email excitement there, was not picked stuff, that there are twenty five tons of the same ■tnff ready, also several tons of medium Snallty ore, besides a large quantity of the lohest grade of the ore In sight. Mr Anderson intends to ship twenty tons to Sydney to be treated by various processes, •nd Mr Meyers has also recommended that » parcel be tested here by the Molloy piDl.
