j THE ITALIAN TERMS REFUSED {per pp.k>s association.] Massowah, March 31. Replying to the appeal of the Negus of Abyssinia for poace, the Italians stipulate that they shall retain the positions now occupied by them, and also several stations where the troops may encamp during the summer. They further insist that the Negus shall grant certain privileges to the friendly tribes, Massowah, April 1 The Negus has declined the Italian terms for peace, and has withdrawn his army to a better watered locality.
