Massowah, March 29
The Negus, owing to the scarcity of water and want of food, is anxious to bring the campaign to a termination. Massowah, March 30. The Negus of Abyssinia, fearing a famine, considers that an attack on the Italian troops would be hopeless, and he sues for peace. The Italian officers i are favorable to the request being granted, providing that the positions at present held by the Negus are ceded to them. . Massowah, March 31. The Negus is retreating, and the Italian troops have occupied the camp recently held by him, The Italians will prohably occupy the town of Tarkeh.
