DEPORTATION OF RECIDIVISTES.
Sir Graham Berry has reminded Lord Knutsford, the Secretary of State for the colonies, that the French Government have not replied to the request that the deportation of Recidivistes to New Caledonia should be stopped, and he urges that the Imperial Government should make further efforts m this direction.
