It has been decided thatH.M.S Nelson cannot now be placed m the Calliope Dock, as she la to leave for Sydney. In a letter to the Harbor Board on the matter. Admiral Fairfax saya he thinks the capacity of the dock has been satisfactorily proved by the recoptiou of the Diamond and Calliope simultaneously, and he has reported to the Commissioners of the Admiralty on the successful performanae of the opaulag caremony, and the satisfactory construction aud arrangements of tbe dock.
