WAKANUI RIVER BOARD.
A meeting of this Board was held on Saturday last. Present: Messrs Jas. Brown (chairman), D. Leddy, T. Olephane Bf . Wilson, and B. Brown. It was retolved, "That Messrs Fookß •ud Son be instructed to classify the land m the district into three classes m accord•dcs with Clause 97 of the River Boards Act, and to lay the same before the Board at their earliest convenience."
Messrs Fooks and Son agreed to nnder take the clerical work until the Board ware m a position to know what the extent of the duties would be.
It was deofded to request the Property Tax Commissioner to forward an Assessment 801 l
After fixing on a day to have a thorough Inspection of the river, the Board adjourned,
