New Plymouth, March 19. Judgment was given m the Bellinger case ht noon to-day. The Court suspended Captain Benson's certificate for six montd and recommended under Section 24 that the certificate of a first officer be issued , him instead. The Court cen« sured the mate for turning m before ho was properly relieved. His certificate wes returned. The engineer's certificate was plso returned as thoro was no evidence that he had onything to do with tha casualty. No order was made aa to costs.
