ABOLITION OF FRENCH WINE DUTIES.
Pakis, March 15
. In spite of the opposition of Government, the Chamber of Deputies* has, by a large majority, agreed to a motion for the abolition of the wine duties. By this action a loss of 160,000,000 francs will be caused to the revenue. The motion proposed an increase of the duty on alcohol.
