GREAT STORM IN NEW YORK.
New York, March 12.
Unequalled snowstorms were experienced m this city and the vicinity to-day. The city has been frozen into a state of inactivity. Street and railroad traffic has been stopped, and telegraph lines broken. Business is completely blocked, the people being afraid to venture out.
