LICENSING ACT.
Melbouhnk, Maroh 12 Under the new Licensing Act tbe residents of Port Melbourne have demanded a poll to determine the number ot licenses to be granted by the local Licensing Bench. The poll was laken on Saturday with the result that by a majority of eighty, the residents declared that the number of hotels should be reduced by one half.
