On reaching the abattoirs Nelson passed Eofilade, and Abercorn was then lying four lengtha m the rear. The same order waa maintained paaalng the Btand, on the firat round, bat at the bottom turn Abercorn improved hfa position. Along the back stretoh the favorite was improving, and then ran into seoond plaoe. He kept the lead to the straight, but here Enfilade under the whip, orept op to the leaders, bat he ■oon fell away ajyain. Aberooro now ran up to Nelson and, without being touched with the whip, shot past and won very eaßily by a length. Enfi'ade was four lengtho behind Nelson, Time— 6min 15 sec.
