TKTIBO THE. DIP, The following good thing is told by the " North Otago Times": — A rather good advertisement was obtained the other day m the Oamaru district for a sheep dipping compound. A gentleman well known ia the district took a greyhound to a station dip for the purpose of "putting him through." As he raised tbs doe m his arms to projeot It Into the dip it suddenly put it* forelegs around its master's neck. The result was that both dog and m-n vent into the dip. Both disappeared, but the dog was tha first to regain terra firma. During hit absenoe from the surface the owner of the dog said he imbibed about half a dozen mouthf als of the dip.
