The design of Kohn and Co. for the new obamplon belt (for which a prfza of fifty pounds was offered) was accepted, Groves, of Dnnedin being second. The new belt will be ornamented with ailver laurels and the ponoh will be of silver representing ft rifle range. A resolution was passed that the Chairman of the association be anthorUsd to obtain a sufficient number of Martini't for the use of member a of the Association at onoe. A Hat Is now on the ground for signature and a large number hare already put their names down. The coat is not to exceed £3 ss. Sommervllle; Wellington, Oapt. Kohn and Oapt. McOredie; Blenheim, Oapt. Griffiths ; Nelson, Capt. Rowlands ; Chrlstchnroh, Mr Meddltigs ; Temnka, Lieut. iTindlay ; Oamaro. Oapt. Crgagh, pp|. dumpier ' and ' Oapt. Coegrove ; Dunedln, Major Burns, Oapt. MoNab, Capt Wilkinson and Pvte. Richardson. This morning broke fine with a puffy wind from the right. At the 300yda range of the Otago match Lumsden, the leading carbine, and Johnston of the rifles, broke down. Purnell now leads for the rifle belt, and Parslovr for the oarbine and the chances of these two are very favorably regarded.
