A fIORRID SAN FBANCISCO PIG On Saturday morning about D.30 o'clock a fat and lively species of the genua pig escaped from a waggon on Polk street, end immediately made for tbe Statiou A branch post office. In the corridor were several haoSsoma Western Addition bellea, and olao a couple cf tbe ancient style of femininity. The ladies, at the eight of tbe animal, began screaming, and run to the farthest end of the corridor, thinking thus to avoid his m?j^3ty ; but the p T g was determined that tha erne: was made for him, and ho also ran for it. The ladies screamed again cud lifted their dresses to what on any other occasion woaM ha termed an " inappropriate height." The pig nestled iu under their dresses. The ladies screamed louder. One tried to bit him with a stamp, another had the proaenca of mind to hit him with a parasol, but none of ths ladi*B ran. A crowd of men boy 3 a<d dugs were attracted tj the epot, the mou and boy* by the screams, the doga by the pig. The doga ran in and barked at the pig.
